I think the title of this entry accurately sums up what will be the Thanksgiving dinner for my family. Instead of the family road trip to visit my aunt and the assembled masses there (a gathering for which I'd been tasked to bring some beets and dessert), we will get to spend the holiday at home with the immediate family. We'd not planned to be here, so we didn't go through all the shopping necessary for a full Thanksgiving meal... just the pie and beets which we were supposed to bring.
For this, I have my daughter and her new case of ear infections (yes, both of 'em!) and conjunctivitis.
